Ellen Kalter, PHR - Bio

    Ellen Kalter is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR).  Kalter is Senior Human Resources Manager for Brother International Corporation.  She is an innovative, experienced and results driven leader who assesses, executes and leads the Recruitment Services Organization to support current and future staffing needs of Brother International Corporation and its affiliates.  She is responsible for the strategic oversight and execution of the recruitment talent, strategy, branding and marketing for the company.

    Additionally, Kalter serves as strategic liaison to hiring managers and senior level-level executive to develop and implement innovative strategies and plans for talent management.  She manages a team of recruitment professionals and administrative staff who are responsible for providing services, tools and support for all divisions and leads the development and implementation of employment marketing approaches for recruiting talent, and recognizing opportunities to promote the company at various venues.  Kalter serves as business owner of company’s applicant tracking system ICIMS, to ensure the problem resolution, data integrity and optimization of system.  She negotiates with and manages the Company’s key recruitment vendor relationships; is responsible for all EEO and OFCCP reporting and compliance; manages the University Relations program including entry level hiring and internships; and  manages the Recruitment Services annual budget.

    Kalter is actively involved in the Staffing Management Association [SMA] and currently serves as Treasurer.  Co-Chair of Registration Committee for Garden State SHRM Conference for the past 5 years
