Staffing Management Association of New Jersey Visits Rutgers

    04/16/2013 - Last night, a group of human resources professionals from around New Jersey visited Rutgers University, holding classes and mock-interviews for soon to graduate students focusing on human resources disciplines.
     
    The event was coordinated by Staffing Management Association of New Jersey (SMA-NJ) Programming Chair, Patricia DeNicola and Len Garrison, Career Services Manager for the Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations.  Following the meeting, DeNicola said, "On behalf of the NJ Staffing Management Association leadership team, it was a pleasure seeing our peers and meeting new friends last night at Rutgers University.  We would like to thank our volunteers for your willingness to help out in making our annual community service activity such a great success!"  DeNicola continued, "We (and the Rutgers staff and students) appreciated the time you spent traveling to Rutgers and meeting with the students to share your insights and expertise for their professional development.  You all did a fantastic job and your extra efforts in making the event a real success was greatly appreciated by all!"

    SMA-NJ is a SHRM Special Interest Group focusing on recruiting, hiring, staffing, on-boarding in New Jersey.  SMA-NJ members include human resource practitioners from leading New Jersey employers and professionals who serve the needs of HR departments across the state.
