Patti DeNicola - Bio
Patti is a 28 year Corporate Human Resources Manager recently retiring from the Chubb Corporation in Warren, NJ in 2012. Her last position at Chubb was U.S. Sr. Recruiter and College Relations Manager. In this role, Patti was responsible for the strategic sourcing and recruiting for interns, trainee and executive positions in Chubb's U.S. branches. In addition, she was responsible for the oversight of the corporate recruiting strategy and ongoing relationships with the US Colleges and Universities for the sourcing of entry level talent.
Patti's previous HR career assignments at Chubb were managing HR as a Generalist in 5 different branch offices located in NY and NJ and also serving as Chubb's Disability and Absence Management Manager, overseeing all workplace absences, disabilities and worker's compensation reporting for all employees nationwide.
Currently, Patti is involved in contract HR and volunteer work. Her activites include mentoring youth at the NJ All Stars Program in Newark, NJ where she serves as a Program Associate, mentoring, leading and assisting with youth leadership programs.
Also, Patti is participating in mentoring youth at the Union and Essex County Big Brother and Big Sister Program. And, Patti is a Union County Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer, advocating for foster children in the county.
Patti is the Program Director for Staffing Management Association of New Jersey. She researches and organizes conference speakers and programs for SMA's Meetings and Events.
